Austin & Ben Hayford-Moody

Our Story

Hi! We’re Austin and Ben. We’ve been together for almost twelve years and met while attending Iowa State University -- Go Cyclones! Overland Park, KS is where we call home and live with our two (mostly) perfect furbabies -- Maverick and Maeve. Austin works as a Sales Director for a marketing agency and Ben is a Safety Engineer for a large automobile manufacturer. We both pride ourselves on being hardworking, driven individuals with strong Midwestern values instilled in us by our parents. Family is everything to us, and it has been a long-time dream of ours to build a family of our own. While we weren't sure where to start over a year ago, after a lot of research, help from science, and a supportive community of experts, we started down the path of gestational surrogacy. We are so excited to FINALLY be at a place where we are able to start the search for a very special someone to help us make our dream of becoming parents a reality. We both strongly believe that life is about making memories and sharing milestones with the ones you love, and we can't wait to do that with our future little ones in a home where there will be no shortage of unconditional love, guidance, and support. Interested in learning more about us? Please send a DM and we would be happy to set up a call to discuss more about potentially matching on this upcoming journey.

Our Interests

We love visiting family and friends from coast to coast. Spending quality time with our biggest supporters has always been a huge priority in our lives. When we aren’t traveling, we enjoy hosting dinner parties and game nights. Austin is a great cook with a passion for creating recipes while Ben is a mastermind behind strategy at pretty much any board game. We have two furbabies, Maverick & Maeve, that we love to spoil with long walks at the park and late night pupcones. We’re always working on projects around our house and out in our yard. There isn’t an HGTV inspired project that we haven’t attempted to try yet. If we can’t be on a beach, then we love a nice weekend at the lake where we can just anchor out in a cove and relax. We can’t wait to share our abundance of love and interests with a child of our own someday and cannot thank you enough for considering helping us make that dream come true.

No one likes to talk about surrogate compensation, but it is an important factor in any surrogacy agreement. The following is how we classify high, medium and low compensation (excluding the value of any benefits). Many factors affect surrogate compensation including surrogate experience (e.g., has the woman been a surrogate before?), whether the surrogate is signed up with an agency and surrogate preferences.

  • Low = surrogate compensation less than $20,000
  • Medium = surrogate compensation between $20,000 and $40,000
  • High = surrogate compensation greater than $40,000
