With the holidays coming up fast I thought it would be great to have a list of gift ideas for IPs! Ips please comment ideas and if you would like/dislike as well!

Things on my idea list are: embryo painting, embryo ornament, heartbeat painting, the light/vibrate band to push when baby is moving alot/kicking. Heartbeat bear. What else?!

@Jill You are so sweet! You already mentioned the gift I was going to suggest – the bond bracelet! I am wearing mine now and I absolutely love it. I think it will really help with bonding with our baby. So far, my fave thing ever. The only other thing I would consider is the belly buds, where the intended parents can send you recordings of their voice and you can play for baby, but honestly I like the bond bracelet more!

@jill I loveeee all your ideas! Some to add: jewelry (mama or dad necklace/bracelets), framed ultrasound photos, baby clothes or blankets (maybe even personalized), rainbow stuff! <3

I am here for these ideas. Everything listed is on my mind for when the time comes, however I am not pregnant. Last Christmas I sent them my favourite holiday tea and matching mugs to enjoy. This year I haven’t quite figured it out… I’m hoping to be in town for transfer just before Christmas so I need to figure it out quickly! Any suggestions for IPs whose surrogate is not yet pregnant?

You have so many good ideas! Wanted to share a couple gifts I did throughout our journey.

Framed ultrasound picture that said “love at first sight”

Big sister bandana for their dog + gender-neutral onesie that said my sibling has paws (they were pet parents)

Gender-themed outfit after gender reveal — once they found out they were having a boy I got them a onesie that said “boys will be boys(crossed out) smart and sensitive.”

Other ideas would be goodies from your hometown, a surrogacy journal, a fun print for the nursery (my fave says “We Made a Wish and You Came True”, fun matching t-shirts you could wear at transfer, appointments, or delivery.

I like all these ideas! Love the matching shirts, surrogacy journal, and hometown gift ideas! Especially for those who are not yet pregnant.
