Did you journal/document through your journey? If so did you use a specific book or just a regular journal?

I do journal through my journeys to gift to my intended parents at the end! I found it better to just use a cute blank journal I found and I wrote entries and also tape in memories and ultrasounds etc from throughout the journey! ❤️ I love that you are going to journal throughout your journey too!! It goes by so quickly it’s so nice to have it written down!

I think it’s the best gift you can give other than the baby. Then they always have those memories to look back on.

I documented on my phone and told myself that I would go back and put it all into a journal to gift my IPs at the end of the journey and that just… never happened. Lol I still plan to do it, it will just be very belated. I’ve seen a TON of cute journals specifically for surrogacy on Etsy and even Amazon, but they all seemed to be missing things that I would want to include and included other things that I wouldn’t want in there. I think everyone’s journey is so unique that it’s hard to find a surro-specific journal that will fit everyone’s wants/needs, so I plan to go with a blank journal and add in the things that are important to me & my IPs.

I agree so much! I have ordered some from Amazon and returned them because it didn’t have everything I wanted. Same thing with Etsy. I think I will do the same and make my own.
