    Our aim is to be a place where intended parents and surrogates can get unbiased information about surrogacy in peace. Please refrain from judging others or criticising their choices. Our admin will follow closely and delete any disrespectful comments.
  2. Respect each other's privacy
    Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Authentic and honest discussions will make this forum amazing, but many things said might be private and sensitive.

What's shared here should stay here.

How the Forum works:

  1. Users can earn points:
    • 5 points for starting a conversation that is relevant to surrogacy (limited to one question a day users can ask more questions but they just get 5 points for one)
    • Awarding 5 points for answering a question AND getting a "like". Every additional "like" the person gets earns them 1 additional point.
    • Every week, all users are awarded 5 likes to distribute as they choose. The likes don't roll over so it's just 5 likes a week that they can distribute.
  2. Once a user earns 100 points, we get notified and you'll receive a $100 amazon gift card.
  3. Getting a certain number of points will get you the rank of "experienced surrogate" or "experienced intended parent".

    My journey with my current IP’S is coming to an end. We had 2 embryos and both have been failed transfers/the last one they are calling a miscarriage. I am contemplating a new journey with new IPS bc I dont feel fulfilled or I have done my job. But my concern now is that I don’t have a baby to show and 2 failed transfers… is that a turn off (are we dating🤔), or will anyone even want to match with me? Has anyone been through this?

    I’m a mom via GC. We worked with an amazing GC who had two failed transfers with a previous couple. The failed transfers were likely due to embryo quality and the clinic cleared her to carry for someone else. We had tested embryos, so all felt comfortable moving forward. Our first transfer failed (with no explanation) so we kept basically the same protocol and the second transfer stuck. Best of luck!

    @Devin So sorry it took me a while to respond! I totally agree with @Meagan – embryo transfers fail all of the time and most of the time it’s because of the quality. That has nothing to do with you and if I were a parent looking for a GC, I would definitely be open to chatting with you.

    But with that said, I would probably ask you if there was anything about the transfer itself that was weird – like what was your lining, how did you respond to the medication, any weird thawing issues with embryos, etc. If something was a bit different about your situation I would ask more questions 🙂 Hope this was helpful!
