There are two major rules enforced:

  1. Be respectful
Our aim is to be a place where intended parents and surrogates can get unbiased information about surrogacy in peace. Please refrain from judging others or criticising their choices. Our admin will follow closely and delete any disrespectful comments.
  2. Respect each other's privacy
Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Authentic and honest discussions will make this forum amazing, but many things said might be private and sensitive.

What's shared here should stay here.

How the Forum works:

  1. Users can earn points:
    • 5 points for starting a conversation that is relevant to surrogacy (limited to one question a day users can ask more questions but they just get 5 points for one)
    • Awarding 5 points for answering a question AND getting a "like". Every additional "like" the person gets earns them 1 additional point.
    • Every week, all users are awarded 5 likes to distribute as they choose. The likes don't roll over so it's just 5 likes a week that they can distribute.
  2. Once a user earns 100 points, we get notified and you'll receive a $100 amazon gift card.
  3. Getting a certain number of points will get you the rank of "experienced surrogate" or "experienced intended parent".

Any tips for preparing your body for a successful transfer. I know alot goes into it but anything you did that you felt helped maybe after a failed transfer? This is my 3rd round. 1 failed transfer in March, a cancelled round in June and now starting our 3rd round with a transfer date of 9/22. I feel good about it but also super nervous because this is our last embryo.

I started taking my prenatal vitamins and iron a few weeks before transfer, drank lots of water, ate high protein foods, and then made sure to rest well after transfer and take it easy! Sending you all the sticky vibes!!!!

For all 3 journeys I’ve had I did the same routine – Pomegranate Juice once a day for the week leading up to transfer, lots of avocado and green leafy diet, and very little to no sugar. After transfer, I consumed the core of the pineapple for 5 days as it has bromeline which aids in the implantation of the embryo. As surrogates we take on a lot of responsibility and stress of having a successful transfer because it is our body. I’m sending you lots of positivity and baby dust!!!!!

I did Pomegranate juice for 2 weeks before transfer to help thicken the lining. Then when I started the PIO injections I ate 2 brazil nuts per day until after the two week wait. It has an enzyme in it that is suppose to help with implantation. Also after transfer I did 5 days of pineapple with the core. Oh and I also drank bone broth, there are lots of health benefits from drinking bone broth daily and it is also said to help thicken you uterine lining.

I’m in a similar position where this is our last shot. I’ve been trying to prepare my body as a whole so I completely cut out alcohol, cut down to one coffee a day, I have been prioritizing my rest and sleep which I think helps.

I transfer this weekend so we’ll see how it goes.
