There are two major rules enforced:

    Our aim is to be a place where intended parents and surrogates can get unbiased information about surrogacy in peace. Please refrain from judging others or criticising their choices. Our admin will follow closely and delete any disrespectful comments.
  2. Respect each other's privacy
    Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Authentic and honest discussions will make this forum amazing, but many things said might be private and sensitive.

What's shared here should stay here.

How the Forum works:

  1. Users can earn points:
    • 5 points for starting a conversation that is relevant to surrogacy (limited to one question a day users can ask more questions but they just get 5 points for one)
    • Awarding 5 points for answering a question AND getting a "like". Every additional "like" the person gets earns them 1 additional point.
    • Every week, all users are awarded 5 likes to distribute as they choose. The likes don't roll over so it's just 5 likes a week that they can distribute.
  2. Once a user earns 100 points, we get notified and you'll receive a $100 amazon gift card.
  3. Getting a certain number of points will get you the rank of "experienced surrogate" or "experienced intended parent".

    What do you do to help you get through all the waiting that surrogacy brings? I am so impatient and the waiting is getting difficult this journey!

    I know for myself and our IP’s our faith played a big role in our matching. So as hard as it has been for me, since I have been pretty impatient as well. Is to remind myself that God’s timing is better than ours. And when transfer is supposed to happen it will! I’ve currently been in the “waiting” phase of contracts for almost 2 months. I continue to pray that God gives me peace and knowing that the wait is hard but will be so worth it!

    I think just trying to keep my mind occupied with new hobbies or just to things that I CAN control helps me. We just had our transfer two days ago so we are in the dreaded TWW 🤪 I plan on focusing on my kid’s starting school, & organizing the house while they’re out of my hair lol

    I try to make sure I have something fun to look forward to in the mean time. I found that at first I kept putting my life on hold because ‘what if I have an appointment around that time or what if I have med side effects or what if I’m pregnant’ and it made things feel really slow and so much worse because that didn’t happen. So now I just make plans as I want and if I get an appointment then I’ll just cancel or reschedule.
