To anyone in Sara’s position, having a conversation with your HR manager is always a good idea. Come prepared to the meeting perhaps with a competitor who does offer better paid leave benefits than your current employer. I think it makes it easier for the HR person to advocate change to the higher ups. Also, if you have any insight let us know π
